I know it's become trendy to complain about NBC's hockey coverage. And I know it has to be a hard job putting those broadcasts together for a national audience that may or may not even be interested in the sport.
But is it me, or does their latest advertising campaign seem a little... odd?
(Remember, when you don't subscribe to Bloge Salming videos, you're telling the world that you're on Team Leno.)
I gotta ask.. do you intentionally put ONE typo in every article? I always notice just one. Your writing is usually fine: spelling, grammar, sentence structure, etc. But there's always just ONE spelling or grammatical error, and I can't help but wonder if it's a fun thing you do on purpose.
ReplyDeleteWhat, like Astroboy at the end of an episode?
ReplyDeleteNo... and also, it drives me insane when I do this.
More brilliance, as usual!
ReplyDeleteBravo DGB and BS, bravo.
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
ReplyDeleteHilarious, especially the Leafs part.
ReplyDeleteStrangely enough the Oilers are one of the few Canadian teams that have actually been on NBC (2006 Cup Finals)...
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, you oughtta post this as a thread on HFboards. This needs to make the Most Viewed on Youtube. Haha.
ReplyDelete@Richard
ReplyDeleteHell no. Let's try to keep this site somewhat clean, civil and intelligent.
@Pat...
ReplyDeleteCup Finals
Never heard of them.
I suspect Travis Hair will never again comment on this blog.
ReplyDelete"Respected head coach Cory Clouston" had me laughing way too hard to be healthy. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThe Coyotes ooops I mean jets in 2010-2011
ReplyDeleteYou should mark your posts as NSFW - because I can't stop laughing.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant as usual.
A just-discovered site by this American. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better....Bravo!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to watching future Leaf Jarome Iginla in Eastern Standard Time!!
Brown + Bloge = Brilliance
ReplyDeleteHahah coffee came out my nose when Cory Clouston came on camera! Priceless!
ReplyDeletebut iginla is a future redwing....
ReplyDeletethe entire Calgary Flames segment was priceless xD
ReplyDeleteThe Canadiens bit was funny, the rest was crap.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who works with Travis at Five For Howling, I can honestly say that I was cracking up...very funny...
ReplyDeleteI hope you get paid for this stuff.
ReplyDeleteI didn't stop laughing from the Jets part till the end. This is just brilliant work DGB.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant as usual.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard at the Ottawa and Toronto bits, great works Bloge and DownGoesBrown, easily Bloge's best.
ReplyDeleteI love this site. You and Bloge rock! After a tough day at work or bobbing apples, you still manage to make me lau, especially the Ottawa and Winnipeg bits. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBtw, where'd you grab that stultifying music? That really suits those informational segments.
Ah yes, hilarious until the Luongo segment..but congrats Canada at barely winning the gold that was designed to be won by you, your roster of superstars really showed everyone how unbelievably not dominant you are at your own sport. Would you like to have an international Basketball, Baseball or Football contest? Soccer? Anything?
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone's bitter.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that winning the gold means that you are the dominant hockey power. Just throwing that out there. Also, the argument can be made that the US were nothing without Ryan Miller in net.
Canada won, USA lost. The way that we came to this result isn't important, only the final result is. Move on, please.
Brilliant as usual, but one of your line readings was off. It should have been "No one comes into our country and beats us at our game...twice"
ReplyDeleteWho's hockey's toughest coach? The answer may surprise you:
