Leafs sign Colton Orr

The Leafs have signed Colton Orr to a four year deal worth $1M a season.

This is a fantastic signing. For the first time since Wade Belak left, the Leafs have a true heavyweight.

The Leafs as a team are still not tough enough. But this is a major step in the right direction. Great work by Brian Burke.

Here are some Orr highlights to get you in the mood:

You are so right... wait, is that Chris Neil's music?

  3. @DHS...

In all honesty, at this point Neil wouldn't be a tragedy since he wouldn't have to be the enforcer.

He'd still be a mistake, but not a tragedy.

  4. @DGB-
Neil would make a excellent pre-game speed-bag in the dressing room for Orr. Sign him for $50 a game. :)

  5. Holy smokes. Once you mentioned Orr I really wanted it to happen but didn't think it would. Nicely done. Great call.

  6. Don't get too excited, he ducked a lot of fights last year. He seemed to be coasting on reputation a lot. But at least you don't have fucking Donald Brashear. I will now drink a pint of AIDS.

  7. He didn't duck a single fight, Renney kept him on a short leash. Leafs get one helluva player, who does have it in him to play above his enforcer role.
