The NHL saw a welcome new trend last month, when several teams sent actual players out to hand deliver season tickets to fans. The Bruins sent Nathan Horton and Milan Lucic out to surprise some loyal fans, and the Penguins had half their roster knocking on doors in the Pittsburgh area.
Not as well publicized was the fact that the Toronto Maple Leafs have a similar program. They sent Luke Schenn and Tomas Kaberle door-to-door to deliver tickets to Maple Leafs season ticket holders who bought seats in the ACC's lower section.
But for some reason they never got around to releasing the video. Until now...

Happy Thanksgiving indeed! I've missed these things! Good work DGB and Bloge Salming!
ReplyDeleteI was about to post a comment about Luke Schenn & Kessel wearing #16, and Kaberle and Phaneuf each having an "A" on their sweater, but I see you took care of that at the end.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with LD: "welcome to my world"
Can we ask the Toronto Sun to get their translator's on the job of what Phaneuf was saying there?
ReplyDeleteA very nice return to form, boys.
ReplyDeleteI loved it! 5 stars for sure.
ReplyDeleteI actually snorted at the Kessel, Phaneuf bit.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I think I just scared my co-workers. (You think by now I'd learn not to watch these at work). I simply lost it at the Kessel part.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!
Glad to see Bloge Salming finally back.
ReplyDeleteI love this, the ending was awesome! made my day
