“Fix The NHL” draft: Franchise tags, fun uniforms, 3-point games, and… relegation?

Today, four of us are going to fix the NHL. Or at least, we’re going to try. And then you’re going to tell us who did the best job.

Oh, you don’t think the NHL needs any fixing? The league, as currently run, is just about perfect? Cool, always fun to meet a satisfied customer. This post isn’t for you, feel free to click back and find something else Gary er, random reader.

  1. Honestly, the NHL could use a shake-up. The draft system feels stale, and tanking incentives still linger. Maybe a weighted lottery with more balance would push teams to stay competitive all season. It’s like in Geometry Dash Lite—you can’t just skip the hard parts; you have to push through and earn the win. Same with the league: consistency and effort should be rewarded.

  2. Interesting proposals for fixing the NHL! It's always fun to brainstorm improvements for a league we love. The relegation idea is certainly bold. Makes me think of the high stakes and thrilling downhill races in Snow Rider 3D - one wrong move and you're out! I'm curious to see which "fix" comes out on top.
