Dude says that he doesn't believe in the trade deadline, he believe you should be with the team from training camp on, now he might wait to join a team in december? I hope the Toronto Media eats him for this. Set the Leafs behind by at least a year or two by his stubborn ways. Good ridance...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6518202653898886981.post-27822818335078634742008-08-29T19:46:00.000-04:002008-08-29T19:46:00.000-04:00I think it damages Sundin's credibility just to ha...I think it damages Sundin's credibility just to have the idea floated by his agent.

That's exactly it. It doesn't really matter whether Mats ultimately takes this route or not. If he's decided that his October/June rule doesn't apply after all, then the trade deadline becomes even more of a debacle.

That said, it's also possible that Barry was just asked a question he wasn't prepared for and tried to give a "leave the doors open" non-answer. This may not actually be coming from Mats. At least I hope not.Down Goes Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10150805735008417848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6518202653898886981.post-4401333940896585952008-08-29T17:29:00.000-04:002008-08-29T17:29:00.000-04:00I think it damages Sundin's credibility just to ha...I think it damages Sundin's credibility just to have the idea floated by his agent. Either Barry is saying things that aren't coming from Sundin, or Sundin is changing his stance. If it is the latter, especially if Sundin does end up playing a partial season, he's going to be in for a rough ride from fans. If the idea is Barry's, Sundin is probably not very happy with him right now, I sure wouldn't be.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6518202653898886981.post-16654990510789448792008-08-29T11:01:00.000-04:002008-08-29T11:01:00.000-04:00No bashing (yet).
